Next Steps To Franchise Business Ownership

With ValuePest, we make every process we have as simple as possible. Here’s our franchise recruitment process.

Step 1. Request More Information

After you have reviewed all of the information on our website and are interested enough to begin a conversation with us, simply fill out the online request form and the process will begin. We’ll be in touch with you shortly to answer any questions and schedule a convenient time to move on to step 2.

Step 2. Meet and Greet Call

At a convenient time we will conduct a brief 15-minute “meet and greet” call with you. We will try to learn about why you are interested in starting a new business and about the resources you may have to pursue ValuePest franchise ownership. We will determine if the territory you may be interested in is still available and will initially qualify you for the opportunity. It we both agree to move forward, you will take pat in an in-depth webinar. We will also send you a copy of our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) via email and mail a printed copy of the document to you.

Step 3. Introductory Webinar

We have prepared a 30-minute PowerPoint presentation that walks you through the benefits of becoming a ValuePest franchise owner that we will demonstrate to you during a webinar. This is a step-by-step introduction to what ValuePest does, how we do it, and what’s in it for you. You are welcome to invite guests or friends to attend the webinar.

Step 4. Review our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)

After the webinar, we will schedule another telephone call to review our FDD in depth, step-by-step, answering any questions that you may have.

Step 5. Talk to ValuePest Franchise Owner, Field Ride-A-Long and Research

This step is by far the most important step in our recruitment process. We don’t want you to take our words for it; we want you to talk to some of our franchise owners and get a feel for our community and our culture. We also recommend that you visit and ride-a-long with one our technicians in the field to see exactly what we do and how we do it.

Step 6. Sign Your Franchise Agreements

When you have signed and returned the receipt for the FDD, there is a mandated 14-day waiting period before we can accept any payment or finalize the deal. During this time we will deliver your completed franchise agreements for your exclusive territory. When you’re ready, you’ll come to our corporate office in Monroe, North Carolina and sign the contracts. At the closing, we will schedule your training and get your new business up and running as quickly as possible.
